Small formats

Majority of these works originate from the late 80’s until 2005.

Size and technique are common to shown paintings:

Size
The most of the works are 100x70 cm which could not be considered small, but for Frane who felt best before large scale challenge, these are really small formats.

Combined technique
Consists in using charcoal, tempera, acrylic, pastel and even colored pencil without specially determined order in work process or representation on painting surface.

Everything else – motifs, expression, degree of detail, color – differ from painting to painting.

What links them is the fact that each of them is imprinted with certain aspect of his life experience, these paintings are very personal, and viewed as a whole represent a sort of his life’s summary.
